PMC5
Hey everybody! I hope today marks the beginning of a great weekend for you all. Today I wanted to talk about the upcoming event, Power Morphicon 5. As many of you know, it is the largest Power Rangers convention out there and lots of news, like the cast of new seasons or new toys, is often released as well as having many actors. Also, as many of you know, this year marks TEN YEARS since Mystic Force first aired. Wow, a full decade already. Anyway, at the time of Peta Rutter's passing, the Power Ranger's franchise was going through a strange period, there was the revision of MMPR and Saban also managed to get the rights to the series back. Peta did not receive much coverage here, especially since she was an Auckland actor. I was just wondering if maybe something could be done in her memory. Even if it's as simple as having a poster sized image of her with a little memory book underneath. That way, fans could recall their favorite Udonna moments and write what they loved about how Peta made the character. I didn't remember seeing any of the MF cast on the rangercrew guest grid, however, if any cast or crew is there they write down their own memories of Peta on set or just her character in general. I honestly believe this is important as it will help preserve her memory. That's why having quotes, pictures, and videos is so important. We can use them to cherish the time she did spend with us, and helps us remember her. Thank you for reading this and if any of you are going to PMC 5, or know Scott, the creator, please try and pass the word. Some day I hope to be able to attend but as this year marks 10 years since MF, I think it is really important. Again thank you, and have a great day/weekend!!!!!!!

Ranger Newz Entry #2
Ranger Newz Entry #2
Hello everybody! Lots of exciting news has been happening in the Power Rangers world this week. With SDCC still ongoing, I'm sure much more will come out but I wanted to give an update on what we've already seen. I apologize in advance as this may be a long one. Lets begin:New PR17 Photo Released:
Before getting into the Comic Con stuff, the Rangers were already taking over the internet. USAToday released an image of the five rangers with their visors down, and man do they look cool! Click Here To See Many people have been divided, however it seems more favorable. Hopefully more to come soon. Now onto SDCC.....
Legacy Figure Line:
New legacy figures (though previously leaked thanks to Raz) of the Space rangers were revealed. IMO I think the girls look better than NS blue. Also, we finally got to see what the build a figure megazord's looked like (not bad at all). You can view some pictures here. Also, RangerCrew on Facebook has huge galleries of photos that I highly recommend you check out.
Movie Stuff Here, Movie Stuff There:
Many new movie-related products and props were revealed. First, the new action figures were unveiled. View here. The ones shown were apart of the new legacy line and will cost $20.00 Also reported, there will be more standard figures priced at $10. It's good to see Bandai sticking with the legacy line of figures and hopefully the size and quality stays. Some big-figures are also reported to be coming, with giant versions of the megazord and rangers. Also, the helmets were shown view here. They revealed the power coins right under them, and it is now known that inside Rita Repulsa's (Elizabeth Banks) staff was the green ranger's power coin! Very interesting piece of info that was hidden in plain sight. The cast of the PR17 movie had lots to do today from interviews, panels, and even award show appearances (Watch the MTV Fandom awards Sunday). Some more news will hopefully come out within the coming days of SDCC (though now unlikely, fingers crossed for a teaser).
Miscellaneous:
A couple of other things have been revealed so far at SDCC. First, the Legacy Ninja Megazord was on display and looked very cool. Finally, a new poster was showed for Power Rangers Ninja Steel (wow they remembered that's a thing!) You can view it here. Incase you weren't aware, I love the synopsis of Ninja Steel and I am optimistic that Chip Lynn will listen to what constructive feedback they had about PRDC and PRDSC and use it to improve on with Ninja Steel. Dino Charge was definitely good but did have flaws, as will everything. As long as he tries to improve, we the fans can't ask for anything more :)
In conclusion,
with SDCC still underway we can expect even more news to be released the next couple of days. A BIG BIG BIG thanks to RangerBoard for their amazing coverage and photos, helping PR fans stay in the know. Popularity of this brand is boosting and the sky is most ceartinly not the limit. It's a great time to be a fan of PR and hopefully all this coverage will bring the spotlight back to this truly fantastic and unique franchise. Chow for now, friends!

Remembering Peta
Hello everybody! There has been some new PR photos revealed that I will cover later, but first I wanted to talk about the date. July 20. For those of you who are as avid fans of Peta Rutter as myself, you'll know that today is the day that she passed on. Today could be known as a very sad day for Power Rangers fans who came to love Peta as Udonna. However, I don't believe that that is how she would have wanted her memory to live on. Instead of thinking about this day as when she died, we can make this day a celebration of her life. No doubt there will be tears from her family, friends, and fans, but we can try and make the best of it. Instead of remembering her for her death, lets remember her for her versatile career. Lets remember her as a caring mother, loving spouse, and generally a kind person all around. In December, to remember her on her birthday, PR writer Jackie Marchand wrote "Peta was such a lovely woman and a wonderful, generous actor. We were so lucky to have her." Also Bruce Kalish, Executive Producer from SPD through Jungle Fury, wrote "Peta was an extraordinary actress who owned the part as she walked in the room. The consummate professional who mastered drama and comedy. She was intelligent, gracious, outgoing and beautiful who enriched the lives of everyone she worked with." Through there words we can truly see the type of amazing person she was. As Ms. Marchand said, we truly were lucky to have her. I know personally that the character she portrayed made me a better person, so much so that she left a footprint that made me want to follow it and learn more about her. So I ask that if today, even if only for a moment, you think about Peta Rutter in a happy or positive way. It's truly appreciated and important, and I believe that if we do that, the sky might shine just a little bit brighter today. Much love to you all!

The Rutter Family
After doing a little bit of digging on the internet, I've discovered a lot more about Peta Rutter and her family. First, as many of my followers now know, she was married to NZ actor Carl Bland and they completed many theater shows together. They co-owned their own theater company, Nightsong Productions. Also, she had a daughter named Milli, who came from another relationship. Despite this, she was raised by Carl and Peta and they consider each other family. Peta's parents were Sir Frank Rutter, a respected and well known NZ doctor. He passed away in 2002. You can read his obituary here
Her mother was Lady Mary Rutter, who married Frank in 1947. She is also survived by five sisters!

Here is one of my all time favorite videos featuring Peta Rutter as Udonna. It is a great tribute to my favorite PR mentor and one of my favorite actresses. I recommend you all check it out!
Ranger Newz Entry #1
Ranger Newz Entry #1
Hello Ranger Fans!In a new series of entries that I will be writing, I'm going to be writing about different PR news that has been going on. I believe that between Dino Super Charge, Ninja Steel, Boom Comics, and the 2017 movie, the Power Rangers are taking the world by storm once again. As one of Peta's biggest roles came from Power Rangers, as well as a majority of her fans, I believe that doing this could attract more PR fans to learn about her. So lets get started:
Bryan Cranston Apologizes:
After David Yost, the original Blue Power Ranger, tweeted out in response to the casting of Cranston as Zordon, not approving due to comments that he made about the sexuality of the actor. In a new statement, Cranston apologized and said he doesn't remember saying that, but will still own up to it. Read the full story here http://www.people.com/article/bryan-cranston-apologizes-david-yost-power-rangers-comments
Character Posters 2017 Movie:
Also this week, new character posters for each of the five rangers was released. The majority of fans (including myself) really enjoyed them. You can view all of them here http://www.cosmicbooknews.com/content/new-power-rangers-character-posters Write your thoughts about the posters, or just your general opinion about the movie as a whole. Hopefully we'll see a teaser at SDCC.
Dino Super Charge Rangers @ PMC5:
Finally, O.92 on RangerCrew reported that 7/10 of the DSC rangers will be at PMC5. The link brings you to the page but they include:
Lots of movie news coming out recently. Hopefully David and Bryan will be able to make up. Also, here's to hoping a teaser, trailer, or teaser-trailer, comes out soon for the movie. I hope everybody enjoyed this new section I'm starting and will continue to read it. Thank you and have a great day,
